MYRA

Myra Crane is a Turkish American artist, born in Oceanside, California. She is  currently residing in Paris, France. Myra has lived and studied in five countries including Australia, Germany, Turkey, France and the United States. She Graduated with a BFA from Paris College of Art in May, 2021. From a young age, Myra has been drawn to creative outlets, whether these were music, drama, or the visual arts. Although, mainly focusing on 2D processes such as painting and drawing, Myra explores a wide variety of other artistic approaches including textiles, video, installation and photography. The artwork characterizes itself by its vibrant palette. The work investigates the visual translation of the world, Myra attempts to explore structure. Taking inspiration form personal experiences, and using them like tools to feed creativity. Myra has always been interested in many different veins of creation, and does not want to settle on one aspect of art, but rather continue exploring different creative outlet.
